Among the millions and trillions of food options available, it is getting harder to consume a balanced diet. Evolution has led our body to understand food in its most natural, raw form. The modern world has mutated its food sources so much it is hard to differentiate the healthy from the unhealthy. Processed food, genetically modified food, foods which have been grown in unsuitable environment, and the list goes on.
So, what is a simple diet plan? A simple diet is anything which allows you to consume foods your body will be happy to digest. A healthy diet means no short-term or long-term health complications.

It takes a lot of effort to change your diet. When you are not eating foods you regularly consume, you may feel you have not eaten at all. When you make your own food, you know exactly what is going inside your body. Packaged foods contain preservatives and artificial additives which can be toxic. Also replace your snacks. If you snack on chocolate, replace it with a bag of dried fruits and nuts. By making these small changes, you will still be consuming your regular diet, but a healthier version of it.
The third step is to add. Add the nutrients missing from your regular diet. Add fruits to your breakfast. Add salads to your lunch. When you eliminate unhealthy foods, add back something healthy. Eating healthy doesn’t mean you starve yourself. Fresh foods, such as fruits and vegetables, have high amounts of fiber and calories.
The last step is simple: stick to it! The beauty of a simple diet plan is every step is gradual. A gradual change can be easily implemented. And when you start experiencing the amazing results of this diet, it will be hard to go back to your old eating habits.
