A Simple Diet Plan That Produces Amazing Results

Among the millions and trillions of food options available, it is getting harder to consume a balanced diet. Evolution has led our body to understand food in its most natural, raw form. The modern world has mutated its food sources so much it is hard to differentiate the healthy from the unhealthy. Processed food, genetically modified food, foods which have been grown in unsuitable environment, and the list goes on.

So, what is a simple diet plan? A simple diet is anything which allows you to consume foods your body will be happy to digest. A healthy diet means no short-term or long-term health complications.

A healthy diet means a better balance of hormones, allowing you to stay energetic without ever having to worry about weight gain.

It takes a lot of effort to change your diet. When you are not eating foods you regularly consume, you may feel you have not eaten at all. This is why most diet plans don’t work because people start missing their favorite foods. If you have realized your current food consumption is not completely balanced in terms of nutrition, make the change gradually.

The first step to a simple diet plan is to eliminate. Eliminate each and every item which offers no nutritional value. This includes all junk food, such as soda, chips, cookies, cakes and deep-fried stuff. Make it a point to not keep these items at home so you can’t reach out for them even if you develop a craving.

The second step is to replace. Write down what you currently eat and highlight the foods you feel are unhealthy. For example, if you use vegetable oil, you can start using healthier cooking oil, such as coconut or olive. If you eat packaged meals, such as mac and cheese, get in the habit of cooking yourself. When you make your own food, you know exactly what is going inside your body. Packaged foods contain preservatives and artificial additives which can be toxic. Also replace your snacks. If you snack on chocolate, replace it with a bag of dried fruits and nuts. By making these small changes, you will still be consuming your regular diet, but a healthier version of it.

The third step is to add. Add the nutrients missing from your regular diet. Add fruits to your breakfast. Add salads to your lunch. When you eliminate unhealthy foods, add back something healthy. Eating healthy doesn’t mean you starve yourself. Fresh foods, such as fruits and vegetables, have high amounts of fiber and calories.

The last step is simple: stick to it! The beauty of a simple diet plan is every step is gradual. A gradual change can be easily implemented. And when you start experiencing the amazing results of this diet, it will be hard to go back to your old eating habits.
